Derrick Mason headed to Philly for Lito?
Rumors are blowing out of Charm city up 95 North saying John Harbaugh is intrested in the services of an old friend. It seems the Ravens would like to place Lito Sheppard opposite Chris McCalister and in return are offering the 12 season veteran wide receiver Derrick Mason in return. Mason a 5' 10", 192 lb receiver was a two time pro bowler {2000,2003}. At the age of 34 it would appear that the Ravens are looking to try newer receivers and compliment their aging defense. The 2007 season was productive for Mason as he had 103 rec. for 1087 yards and 5 TDs. If the Eagles pull this trade off, the Birds will have their offensive weapons fully loaded and a collective sigh of relief will be let out by all Philly fans!
