ESPN Dramatic Reading

Hey Yardbarkers, I have a surprise for you. I know all y'all see me as a bruising Fullback, however little do you guys know, I am also a trained thespian. Upon graduation of college I had a dilemma on whether to go into my first love which is acting or professional football. I reluctantly chose football. While I was out in NY for the NFL draft, ESPN The Magazine gave me a chance to get back to my roots and show all the haters that I can cross over at any time. Below is some of my best work. Excuse my French/ country side accent, I've been away from the game for a while. Enjoy.

Great job, Ovie!

thx tc

Very good. I like the use of the different voices.

i got stuck between country and french accents so i made up my own accent. i guess u can call it Frencountry

Frencountry.....That's a good one! LOL :)

oh my... i feel like i'm actually at the scene. if i just close my eyes...

lol u prob would find more relief if u closed your eyes and your ears. my brother saw this and is still laughing he says it should be considered noise pollution

That was great, Ovie.

PS: Le'Ron McClain ain't the same.

Word.

Lol Nice.

"do you think he's smarter than you?"

That was great.

thanks i had about 3 takes bc i couldnt get that line right

ovie, this is epic.

Does that qualify for an espy? It was a great moment in sports

im gona do a media campaign to push for an espy, but for some reason i dont see and espy in my future. Now an OSCAR, i can do

I like your blog a lot. It's definitely one of, if not THE best on this site. I see you have Halo 3 as your favorite video game. So what do you get down with: Slayer? And who do you play with: teammates or do you hop on the Live scene? Good luck this season and good luck with camp. College football camp was unbearable. I can't even imagine pro camp.

pro camp is rough but i think college camp is just as hard but without the mental anguish u got at the pros. and regarding HALO 3 i absolutely love that game. i might have to start going to rehab to pull myself away. i usually play team slayer on xbox live and completely demolish anyone who gets in my way

DUDE, I can't even say your last name, but good luck to ya!

I can see it now when you make a grat play on ESPN's Prime Time....."Ovie Dee, Ovie Dah, Life goes on, oh......"

Moo-hale-E

I think my previous comment dissapeared. Just wanted to drop a note to say that it is great to see your career progress. Loved to see you play in Baltimore. Oh, and that reading was crazy! LOL!

OMG, Ovie! It was so great hearing your voice again! You haven't changed much since the good ole days, except a little muscle toning here and there! ;) And good job, you thespian, you!!!

that might be the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen...thanks for the laugh :)
