Family Dominance

Last weekend, the Williams sisters dominated tennis. There have been many dominating family's in sports. Take the Ripkens for example. What drives them? The love for the game!

What about the Griffeys? How often do father and son play, as starters, on the same team? Then there's the amazing Molina family of catchers, the knuckleball pitching Neikros and now you also have BJ & Justin Upton who are both up and coming athletes and that's just in baseball.
In football, you can talk about the Barber brothers. In hockey you had the Statsney (spelling ?) brothers in the 80's.

I did mention the Griffey's, but not about them being starters. Anyway, I just pretty much just mentioned the one that inspired me the most from each sport, but there are many. This was one of my first posts, and now that I am getting the bugs worked out, and getting some readers. I plan to go back soon and write another one of these. It is something that everyone will have a different opinion on, but is also one of the good stories to talk about.
