Tennessee topples Tigers, 66-62

#2 Tennessee defeated #1 Memphis, ending what had been a perfect season for the Tigers. But you already knew that. What you might not have known, though, is that Tennessee coach Bruce Pearl copped a cheap feel from Erin Andrews during their halftime interview. Video available.

Tough loss for the Tigers. If Memphis could hit free throws and avoid foul trouble, they would be unstoppable. John Calipari should hire Gene Hackman to teach his boys how to take care of business at the charity stripe.

If Memphis played the Hackman-coached Hoosiers, the final score would be 185-7 in favor of Memphis. Even without the three-point line, and even if Hackman had Jimmy Chitwood in his starting five.

Memphis hasn't played a top tier team all season. They got used to blowing out all of the teams in the C-USA. Welcome to the big leagues.
