Greg Oden's mohawk

Barack Obama was not a fan of the big man's mohawk. Neither were Grizzlies teammates (and Yardbarkers) Michael Conley and Hakim Warrick, both of whom wish the hairstyle would go back to whatever hole it crawled out of (most likely also occupied by Mr. T). This video of Warrick and Conley railing on the mohawk also includes a surprise "cameo" from an NBA All-Star.

PS: Thanks to the Yardbarkers who pointed out that Greg recently shaved the mohawk. Even still, the video is worth watching... for the All-Star "cameo" if nothing else.

Unless he's going for the Mr. T look it needs to go.

I'm a fan of the Grizz but I gotta disagree with Hak and Michael on this one. The mohawk is a great look for G.O.

i blame damon jones.

da hawk gots ta go

Oh man. Greg, you're better than that.

Yikes. :)

Look at these two trash-talkers with their boring, identical haircuts. Don't hate just cuz you lack Greg's originality and flava... ;)

"original" no Mr.T was OG honey....

thumbs down, it just isn't him

he should stick to the Bill Russell look

mohawks arent original... used to have one myself for football... I looked like Chuck Liddell!!!! lol

Oden's has to go!>!>!>!>

uhhhhhhh, oden got rid of the mohawk already

i say greg oden should grow a frohawk like fredex

uh oh...greg's already had a negative influence on the next generation

I think the mohawk looks great on Greg. He's not a freaking investment banker. Let him have fun with it.

and he also isnt an idiot.....so yeah

I saw go. Once he's playing and dominating, he can do whatever he wants with the hair. But for now, concentrate young man.

Needs to go because it does not compliment him. It is just not that attractive on him (in my opinion).

I like the clean cut mohawk he had in the video when he introduced Laura Bush. He can keep it as long as he keeps it like that.

considering that I saw him on Saturday with the mohawk gone, I'd say "cut it" just so I can be right.

Greg's mohawk was great. It looked awesome. Anyone who didn't like it have never had any style or fun w/ their hair in their life. Greg's 20 years old and make a pretty good living (so I hear) playing basketball. HE CAN CUT HIS HAIR HOWEVER HE WANTS.

I agree. Mohawks are great. Individuality is even better.

i love it. he's just a kid why not let him act like one.. plus.. is it really hurting anyone? and PLEASE can we stop talking about hair! talk about what a great person he is and how modest he is.. and maybe basketball.. that might be a good topic.. but seriously.. this isn't vogue. and thats coming from a girl

stick with the hawk greg ! its your personality and expess you so keep it ! by the way u also look alot younger !!

Greg's mohawk is awesome.

Is there anything worse than that mohawk?

It wouldn't be so bad if he blended it in some. Look at Shawn Andrews Fro Hawk

everyone wants to be a rockstar!!!!

He should just get a fro like ben wallce had.

I like Greg Oden, but that hair is atrocious. Not everyone can wear the mohawk.
