Oklahoma State coach's famous rant may have been an act

Last September, Oklahoma State quarterback coach Mike Gundy exploded at a postgame press conference, yelling at columnist Jenni Carlson of the Oklahoman for writing an article about his No. 2 quarterback being benched for being soft. The twist is that the quarterback, Bobby Reid, thought it was all an act. Tensions had increased between the two after Gundy lured Reid to Oklahoma State by calling him "the future of the program," then benching him for another quarterback. Reid couldn't understand why Gundy would all of a sudden stick up for him after losing faith in him. Gundy was trying to cover up for his treatment of Reid, Reid said. After the rant, Reid was the subject of an instant Youtube favorite...and joke. He was laughed at and humiliated constantly. He lost his fire and faded. Reid is now the No.1 QB for Texas Southern Univerisity, trying to resurrect his dream of playing in the NFL one day. Below is Gundy's famous rant.
