According to CNN, Clinton won 50.1% (7.21mil) of the primary vote to Obama's 49.9% (7.17mil), but Obama won 14 states to Clinton's 8. The Dems apportion votes by congressional district, so even though Obama won more states, Clinton's edge in the overall primary vote, especially in the bigger states (e.g., NY & CA), put her delegate count at 632 to Obama's 626 as a result. When you add the pledged superdelegates, Clinton currently leads 825 total delegates to Obama's 732. Ladies and gentlemen, we have a genuine horse race!
