Taiwanese baseball player bodyslams ump

Few things:
1) I couldn't thumbs up this video fast enough.
2) Why was a team from Taiwan playing against the '87 Pittsburgh Pirates?
3) I find it odd that the player in the video looks strikingly similar to the profile picture of the person who posted it, right down to the chops, scowl and angry, rage-filled eyes.
