I don' t think so either. His jab was consistent throughout the fight but I didn't see the fire in him. Perhaps it was based off fighting a tune-up bout but I didn't see the energy level necessary to beat a slickster like Floyd. We shall see though!

i don't think he will beat Floyd either... Oscar said that he won't change his approach for the rematch! i think he needs to! but what do i know lol he probaly should just go with what ever approach he feels the most confident in!

Yeah we all know it's easy to setup a gameplan, but it's an entirely different thing to put it to work in the ring. He'll have to adjust to whatever Floyd brings to the table and I'm not sure Oscar can get it done at this point. Hell, I think a fight with Cotto would be much closer and I wouldn't put a De La Hoya KO past him but at age 35, it's going to be a difficult farewell tour.
