Wayne Newton to Battle Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Stepping out of his weight class, Floyd Mayweather Jr. will join the upcoming cast of Dancing with the Stars and face non other than Mr. Las Vegas himself, Wayne Newton, amongst others. I have to agree with Bad Left Hook here. Jr. can't be all that worried about Hatton if this is how he'll be spending the weeks prior to the December 8th pay per view fight. There is some good that will come of this though. Mayweather is a relatively charming, charismatic guy when he wants to be. The primetime show will give him, and more importantly the sport of boxing, some much needed positive publicity. There's no reason why a fighter as good as Mayweather should be a relative unknown outside of the boxing community.
