Despite being just 30 years old, it doesn't look like former star running back Le'Veon Bell will be returning to an NFL field anytime soon. That doesn't mean, however, that the three-time Pro Bowler is stepping out of the spotlight.
Le’Veon Bell is set to make his pro boxing debut against MMA star and former UFC fighter Uriah Hall as part of Most Valuable Promotions’ Jake Paul vs. Anderson Silva event on SHOWTIME PPV on Sat., Oct. 29 in Phoenix. Bell competed against former NFL MVP running back Adrian Peterson in a charity boxing match in September, knocking out the Minnesota Vikings legend in the fifth round. Like Bell, Peterson is currently a free agent.
Bell's fight against Hall will take place one night before Week 8 of the NFL season kicks off.
The two-time First Team All-Pro played in eight games in 2021, totaling 101 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 39 carries, while adding five receptions for 30 yards and one score through the air. Bell played five games with the Baltimore Ravens and three with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
