Mike Tyson reveals he's lost 69 pounds

Former professional boxer Mike Tyson has slimmed down, and he's looking better than ever.

The 54-year-old boxing legend provided an update on his weight loss journey during an Instagram Live session and revealed that he's lost 69 pounds.

"I just came out to my partner's house (in Dana Point, California). She lives out here," Tyson said, as transcribed by theScore. "We've just been training, boxing, and it feels great man. I come from 289 pounds to 220 pounds, and I feel good."

As part of his training, Tyson was seen lifting an entire steel cage on a Los Angeles beach, and it was impressive.

Tyson began training again in April and has expressed interest in returning to the ring in charitable exhibition matches. He last fought in 2005, so he may be a bit rusty if he ever fights again.

Several opponents have been considered, including his greatest rival Evander Holyfield. Jon Jones, Andrei Arlovski and Ken Shamrock (retired) also have shown interest in fighting Tyson.

Nothing is official yet, though, but it appears we may get to see him fight sooner rather than later... provided the coronavirus pandemic slows.
