Bluffton bus crash survivor to throw first pitch Friday
Former Bluffton University baseball player Tim Berta, who was critically injured when his team's bus flew off an Atlanta overpass a year ago, is set to throw the first pitch on Friday when Bluffton faces Franklin College. Berta has spent the last year learning to talk and walk after suffering severe brain injuries. The widely-publicized bus crash killed five of his teammates, the bus driver, and the bus driver's wife.
