Sources close to us have told us that the Arizona Wildcats are within hours of signing a top 40 recruit to their 2009 recruiting list. This recruit is one of the top Big Men who can play the 4 or the 5 against the rest of the Pac-10 Conference. We are not privvy to all of the details as of yet, but the signing should be official within a few hours. We are awaiting confirmation to publish, but we have it on good authority the Mystery Recruit has committed to the Kitty Kats in Tucson. He should make an immediate appearance and make a huge impact. He WILL fill a hole after one of this season's starters most likely goes in the first round of the 2009 NBA Draft. More news as it comes in.

It's official, my source at The University of Arizona has informed me that UA has signed Top 40 recruit PF/C Greg Smith to it's 2009 recruiting class. Smith, a close friend of UA football recruit Robert Golden has had UA high on his list since day 1 and ultimately it came down to Arizona and his hometown Fresno State. He will have an immediate impact on the program since most likely Junior Jordan Hill will be leaving after the season as a high pick in the 2009 NBA Draft. The official news should be released tonight.
