Joakim Noah's draft stock

Where he goes depends entirely on where the lottery balls fall. He may never be the centerpiece that Kevin Durant, Greg Oden, or Roy Hibbert could become, but what he could be is a hustle and pass first bench player as a rookie, and eventual great second option on a good team. If a team with pieces already in place (Memphis, Phoenix, who have Atlanta's 1st round pick, Seattle, Milwaukee) gets a high pick, than Joakim Noah will draft high -- like 3rd pick high. If the likes of Boston, Charlotte, Seattle, or Philly get the high picks, than Noah could go as low as 9th or 10th in the draft.

I think he's a potential great third piece, not a second guy. We'll see.

How do the other Florida players translate to the NBA game? Will Brewer and Horford go high?

Al Horford is an interesting case. He doesn't possess the passing or the tools of Noah, but his low-post game make him a potential go to scorer on an NBA team. Noah distributes the ball in a way that makes you think that he might be best suited for the college game. Al is an NBA body, big buy, can stay down low and take punishment. Reminds me of Nick Collison from Kansas, now on the Sonics. It's going to be a choice between him and Roy Hibbert of Georgetown for the 3rd low-post guy after Oden and Durant. If the Bucks, 76ers, or Kings get a high pick he could go early, like 4th overall. He will go no lower than 7th behind Oden, Durant, Brandan Wright, Acie Law, Spencer Hawes, and Roy Hibbert - in that order.

Brewer I don't see as a lottery pick. He is a tweener at 6'8 and not particularly huge. The Pistons, who have the Magic's first round pick, who could develop him as he is not nearly as polished as Horford. He plays shutdown D, which the Pistons like. Could be a good 6th man with his position flexibility. Detroit is in line to get the 15th pick according to the games played.

Don't think he'll be a great pro, probably just a good guy off of the bench
