"Listen, I'm Fired Up Too, But Jeez, Dude!"

Here's an article I found on DEADSPIN.COM, which you can also see by where I posted the link. I thought it was fucking hilarious. ( This one's for you Bumpkin )

This video from last night's thrilling Texas A&M-Texas game is awfully shaky and, oh yeah, shot off a television, but it's still worth it, for one of the weirder moments of teammate camaraderie we've seen in a while.

As pointed out by One More Dying Quail, late in the second overtime, Texas freshman Damion Jones James, in an attempt to fire up fellow Longhorn A.J. Abrams, smacks him on the ass exceptionally hard. So hard, in fact, that Abrams juts forward and then turns around, ready to beat the ass of whoever just smacked him.

We understand that the ass slap is a fundamental part of any team's repertoire -- though we haven't the foggiest idea why -- but this is the first time we've ever seen it nearly slide into the sadomasochistic.

You sure plagarized the shit out of that article. You ever think of adding an original thought or opinion to the piece?

If I were to add my thoughts, it would have just repeated what the article said. What else is there to be said? There is no backstory to this. A guy slapped another guys ass really hard. That's all it was. Was there anything else? No. The only thing that I can think of is to say, "No, this is not John Amaechi" or " "This is like porn for John Amaechi"

Do you understand what plagiarism is? Essentially it means taking credit for other peoples work. So when you go onto Deadspin.com and copy and paste the article and slap your name on it, there are copyright issues. Since they can't police your dumb ass, Yardbarker would get in trouble. The point of this site isn't for you to steal other people's work and put your name on it. The point is to draw attention to other sites and blogs that you enjoyed. You can write something like, "Check out this article I found on Deadspin, I think it's really funny." You don't even have to make a brain dead Amaechi joke. That way everyone is happy and you become a better blogo-journalist.

The both of you need an overly powerful public ass slap. Whitejordan32 didn't leave much for Deadspin here, but he did link the article back to the site (which he didn't have to). Blumpkin's right about adding a little more original spice, but whitejordan's done plenty of that in the past. No need for fighting. Let's sit back and enjoy the cross-sport ass Flair Chop.

I disagree. I think when somebody takes another article and repeats it word for word and punctuation for punctuation, they should be called out on it.

Well, Whitejordan32 posted this 12 hours ago. If my math and understanding of Yardbarker rules are correct, he has 12 more hours to edit his article. Let's see if uses these comments to make ammends.

I posted the link. That lets you know who wrote it. That gives lets you know where I got it. Sorry if I don't have the time to properly create and keep a blog and to watch every college basketball game to look for hard ass-slaps.

That's hilarious. A national spanking is one way to throw someone off their game.
