Trojans Topple No. 9 Oregon
The Trojans were finally on the other end of a missed last second shot. USC was up 71-68 when Oregon's Aaron Brooks, one of the most clutch players in college basketball, came off a screen that freed him from Gabe Pruitt, pump-faked Taj Gibson into the air and then pulled up for an open three-point attempt. Luckily for the Trojans the shot didn't fall, and USC hung on to win. The Trojans, who are having a statement season, improved to 18-6 and 8-3 in conference play.
