Former big-time QB recruit knows the tale of missed opportunities
Josh Portis, once the highly touted recruit of Urban Meyer's first Florida class in 2005, is now only a story of what could've been. The QB transferred from Florida after not feeling like he was being utilized effectively (ie sitting on the bench) and enrolled at Maryland. At Maryland, he could've easily taken over the starting job, but didn't, and now is academically ineligible to play at all. Read the full article for the full story, but that's the jist of it.
