Nick Saban Remembers Kent State Shootings
Sunday was the 38th anniversary of the Kent State shootings, when National Guardsmen opened fire on Vietnam War protesters, killing four students. And Nick Saban was on campus that day, as the current Alabama coach was a defensive end for the Golden Flashes' football team. It seems strange that someone who experienced such a tragic event would later compare a loss to Louisiana-Monroe with 9/11 and World War II.
