West Virginia was just too tough, so I decided to coach Michigan

"Rodriguez complained about criticism that followed the Mountaineers' Dec. 1 loss to Pittsburgh, which kept West Virginia out of the national championship game."

You've GOT to be kidding me.

RichRod was practically in tears at the post game presser...........and he had no answers as to why his team lost. Because the he must have spent a couple months pay to buy off the officials , because that was the worst officated game I think I have ever witnessed on a Saterday. And it obviously didn't work. Pitt should have put the game away on several occassions.............but the officials kept RichRod Mountaineers in the game. That was honestly discusting to watch how the ridiculous calls were coming out of the woodwork. Patheic
At any rate.........RichRod is probrbaly gonna write a book, entitled " My first 100 days in Ann Arbor". Michiagn has no idea what they are in for.

I've been following this story with morbid curiosity. There are twists and turns on almost a daily basis. Turns out Board members at West Virginia wanted a $4 million buy out deal (RichRod would have to pay $4 million for leaving early), but RichRod gave his word:

I don't know who this helps or hurts. Certainly gives the impression that Board members knew RichRod was unhappy and bound to leave...

The Alumni at WVU is rightly pissed of because they contributed millions last yr to keep RichRod from going to Alabama.............so WVU gives him a new deal blah blah. A yr later he bolts for Ann Arbor. And in a shady fashion mind you. It is just an ugly situation all around...........I honestly cannot see the Michigan faithful putting up with him long term. He is running off recruits , players are transferring, and he has a 4 million dollar lawsuit over his head ( with no end in sight ) . Things are not good in his household right now.
