Nebraska used a semitruck to help recruit a star player

Head coach Matt Rhule and the Nebraska Cornhuskers are in a heated recruiting battle for Grant Brix, a four-star offensive tackle from Logan, Iowa.

Coaches have to be creative on the recruiting trail, especially in the era of NIL deals that can bring a star recruit potentially millions of dollars. There's still some room for some old-fashioned showboating, though, and that's exactly what the Huskers tried to pull off with their Husker-themed semitruck.

Nebraska went and parked that bad boy out on the lawn outside of Brix's school right by the football field.

If that's not going big or going home, then what is?

For what it's worth, Brix seems to be worth the type, at least according to the ratings.

At 6-foot-5.5, 280-pounds, 247Sports ranks Brix as the No. 5 offensive tackle recruit in the 2024 class. He doesn't have a timeline for his decision yet, but Brix is said to be choosing between Nebraska, Oklahoma and Kansas State.
