Texas A&M keeps taking losses to Appalachian State after yell practice video emerges

Texas A&M was by far the biggest loser of this past Saturday's college football schedule, and it somehow manages to keep getting worse.

First, the Aggies, who entered the weekend as the No. 6 ranked team in the country, took an embarrassing 17-14 loss at home to Appalachian State after paying the Mountaineers more than $1.5 million to play them.

That loss not only cost them 18 spots in the national rankings, but it also cost them what would have been a likely stop from ESPN's "College Gameday" this Saturday. It was anticipated that College Station was going to host ESPN's weekly college football anchor show ahead of a primetime game against No. 13 ranked Miami.

Instead, "College Gameday" is taking its show on the road to Boone, North Carolina, the home of Appalachian State, for its game against Troy.

First, they took your game, then they took your pre-game show.

It somehow managed to get even worse for Texas A&M on Monday.

That was when a video surfaced of the Aggies' Friday night midnight yell practice where the yell leader hit all of the tired cliches.

The midnight yell practice at A&M is one of college football's most famous traditions and takes place at Kyle Field Friday night before every game. This one backfired comically and only added to all of the insults that come from losing at home to a team you thought would be an easy win.
