Tomorrow North Carolina will play a very tough game at Kenan Stadium, one that if they win will solidify their stay in the Top 25 and show them as a legitimate team in college football.

It is getting close to the game between Boston College (5-1, 2-1 in the ACC) and North Carolina (5-2, 1-2 in the ACC) and there is still that bit of sour taste in my mouth from last week. And this can not be the thing that is in the mind of the UNC players...

There is a lot riding on this game between 18th ranked North Carolina (5-1, 1-1 in the ACC) and Virginia (3-3, 1-1 in the ACC). The oldest rivalry in the South, and unfortunately one that in the recent future hasn't be favorable to the Heels.

Thursday's college football showcase looks more like a slapfight rather than a big conference showdown. Both the Big East and ACC have been incredibly poor in the early going, but at least someone is guaranteed to win.

Today's game against Virginia (4-3) is a tough one to swallow for North Carolina (5-2), especially because it now gives all of us the chance to start with the "what if's". Such as "what if Tate didn't get hurt" or "what if Yates could have been in the game" or "what if we didn't do this or that".

when you are winning the problems are well hidden. Unfortunately UNC didn't win the game, and they lost their starting qb as well. Now, with a road game against the team that was once home to Butch Davis, this squad needs to find a leader and a path.

If there was a time that I can eat crow and be happy it is today. What a game! In the end, when it was all said and done, North Carolina (3-1, 1-1 in the ACC), who had lost 20 games in a row out of the state, beat Miami (2-2, 0-1 in the ACC) on the road 24 to 21.

Well, in the UConn vs UNC: The Preview I said that the Tar Heels needed to stay away from penalties. Anyone that watched the game saw that a personal foul cost Carolina a touchdown.
