Michigan Wins DMR at Penn Relays
If you are going to bring it, the Penn Relays is the place to do it. Michigan's distance medley relay team did just that. Serita Williams, Danielle Tauro, Geena Gall and anchor leg Nicole Edwards clocked the second fastest collegiate DMR time to win in 10 minutes, 49.58 seconds. Edwards, a senior, overtook Tennessee's Sarah Bowman on the final 100 meters to score the DMR win at the 114th Penn Relays. Tennesse, the DMR defending champion took second in 10:50.51 and Stanford rounded out the top three in 11:05.48.
