You've probably never heard of the Southern Conference unless you're some sort of college basketball freak. This conference apparently has three teams with the mascot Tigers. I guess there must be a lot of Tigers in the south.

What can you say about Texas Southern? They won no games, they had a really good defense against the pass, and people are willing to pay to see them play. All indications are that there's nowhere to go but up for this program.
