Zabriskie Crashes out of Giro

American David Zabriskie is out of the Giro d'Italia. Zabriskie, a member of Team Slipstream, crashed out of Stage 2 while negotiating a railroad crossing. He suffered a fractured L1 vertebrae but reportedly suffered no neurological damage.
