Missy Elliott is often praised as one of the most creative and revolutionary artists in hip-hop —and rightfully so. Since her career started in the early '90s, she's given fans countless hits such as "The Rain," "One Minute Man," and "Gossip Folks." 

But in addition to her own iconic discography, she's provided her songwriting prowess to some of the biggest names in music. No wonder she became the first female MC to be inducted into the illustrious Songwriters Hall of Fame.
