Hockey puck nearly kills H.S. player

Winona, MN -- Alex Larson blocked a slapshot with his heart and it nearly killed him. "His heartbeat was very fluttery and weak and he was struggling to breathe," said Faribault hockey coach Josh Solem. "And whenever that happens you know it's real serious." Doctors don't expect permanent damage but he's in intensive care with a bruised heart and lung.
