While Sen. Clinton's pre-Derby pick was an ironic metaphor for her campaign, the post-race fireworks are getting interestingly fun. PETA fired off a letter to the presidential hopeful noting: "As a high profile political figure with the esteem of many women, I regret to say that your public support of horseracing--and specifically betting on Eight Belles--makes you culpable in her destruction." Also likening the sport of kings to child sweatshops and dog fighting.
