Just Another Reason PETA Sucks

i can see the logic behind the calls they make for different racing surfaces, and no whipping etc, but suspending the the jockey is the dumbest thing i have ever heard of

agreed, PETA just grandstanding once again, these horses are treated so well by their trainers and jockeys, worked on the backside here in LA at Santa Anita, these horses are bred to race and love it, and are treated like royalty

they're profiting off it as well. peta's not as rosy as people would think. in NC they took over a dozen animals from a shelter, saying that they were going to rehome them, and euthanized and dumped them in a parking lot. perfectly adoptable animals. heinous.
