So as we come to the close of the first big day of lacrosse, The Jman declares that that 2008 season is in full swing. Now today wasn't my best day, and I will admit I am by no means in "Swami-mode" but like any great team, it might take a few runs to get the legs warm and get in the zone. So let's finish this one up.
Lehigh @ Brown: If Coach Cassesse can inspire a young Lehigh team to adopt the "lunch pale" style work ethic that defines his career, they should be in for a very measurable amount of success very soon. Edge: Lehigh Hobart @ Bucknell: I think that the Bison are going to bring all the important lessons they learned against Duke to this game and hopefully get out with a win. Edge: Bucknell Penn State @ Notre Dame: I think that the solid Nittany defense will help keep the Irish off he board, but the newly reoganized Notre Dame offense will find a way to get it done. Edge: Notre Dame Colgate @ Ohio State : The Buckeyes rebound from last weeks loss to get their first win of the season. Edge: Ohio State Umbc @ Rutgers: UMBC finds the right mix to get on top of a young Rutgers attack still trying to establish their confidence: Edge: UMBC Army @ Syracuse: The Orange take the next step in righting the ship and continue their long standing dominance of the Black Knights. Edge: Syracuse Lafayette @ Villanova: After a playground style lesson at the hands of the Orange, Villanova looks to bully a Lafayette team, most fans have never even heard of. Edge: Villanova Holy Cross @ Yale: Yale will continue their winning ways against Holy Cross as they hope to turn the corner and make a run toward the top of the Ivy League. Edge: Yale I hope everyone had a great day. I will admit this is the first season that I've had "DVR", while I do sincerely miss my old school VHS. . . but how did I survive this long with out it, I'll never know. Have a great week and I'll see you on the field. -The Jman
