Are the Rays for Real Yet?

As the season keeps rolling along, the Tampa Bay Rays keep breaking personal records in this "break-out" season... but is it safe to say that they are for real? By getting rid of the "Devil" within their name, did they actually get rid of the Demon within their play?

wutch u talkin bout willis? it aint even summer yet

Absolutely they are for real...only problem is they have to face the Sox and Yanks and ton of times every year. They have a tremendously talented team who can hit and play D. Solid pitchers, some of whom are just getting back into things in Kazmir and Shields. and Troy Percival has been reborn. The only thing that might and probably will hurt them in their youth...but you've got to think the future is bright for this team...especially with the gorgeous new ballpark coming their way. Great to see a team doing things the right ways and having them pay dividends.

There a tough team. I was at Tropicana field for the Sox series and saw the last two losses of the sweep. I was back there on Sunday as they swept the Angels. They have hitting, pitching and all they need now are fans to pack the place. I totally agree with DTRIK that youth will ultimately be their downfall

Just wait for the ace to come along in David Price and I think that will give the Rays atleast 14 more wins...
