Astros Acquire Jason Jennings From Colorado
The Houston Astros have traded for Colorado starter Jason Jennings in an effort to bolster their rotation that lost Andy Pettitte this week and may lose Roger Clemens in the near future as well. Houston received Jennings and RHP Miguel Asencio from the Rockies in exchange for OF Willy Taveras, RHP Jason Hirsh, and RHP Taylor Buchholz. This looks like a bit of a panic move on the part of the Astros as Hirsh and Buchholz are talented prospects and Jennings becomes a free agent after next season.
