David Weathers Must Go

David Weathers lost another game for the Reds last night and it is getting old. He almost blew Cueto's major legue debut last week, and again he pitched awfully last night. Cincy, please give up on this guy. He may be a nice guy, but he is a loser as a pitcher. In a related story, Adam Dunn better start hitting or my prediction of the Reds having a good season will be a bad one. Pitchers actually are looking forward to this guy stepping up to the plate. He will walk or strike out about 90% of the time when he is cold. Come on Dunn, get aggressive.

I couldn't agree more!! Weathers needs to be pitching long relief when the game is lopsisded, not when it is on the line! Burton needs to be our set-up man and then on to Cordero. I think this has become obvious already this season. Burton should be our closer of the future. He mows them down every time he gets the ball. When Weathers comes in the game I almost have to walk out of the room and not watch! He has had a productive career but (nice guy<set up man). Let's make the right decision now before it's too late and move Weathers to long relief and Burton to full-time set up!!
Peace
