Davis and Betancourt to close

According to the Roto Times, for the time being Jason Davis and Rafael Betancourt will share the closers job in Cleveland. It's unlikely that they will stick with the closer-by-committee approach for long, so one of them should emerge as the go-to guy.

(Not sure why I wrote Soriano in the original post title)

Confused me with the headline. Thanks for the tip though. Can you post the link?

RotoTimes doesn't have specific links to articles, but here's the link to the player's notes page: http://www.rototimes.com/player_notes/mlb Scroll about halfway doen to get to the Indians notes.

Carmona had been pitching so well until they finally gave him the closer's job. I think Davis might get some looks, but the Indians didn't trade Bob Wickman to see what Jason Davis could do in the closer's role. If Betancourt does well, I'd imagine he'd take over the majority of save opps and unless Davis and/or Betancourt are lights out, Carmona should get another shot at closing within a few weeks if he gets his stuff together.
