Before NESN and ESPN and the Globe make their stupid 'Welcome Back Kapler' jokes, and play the theme song from 'Welcome Back Kotter;' I'm going to do it.
No but seriously, Kapler is back, unfortunately it's with the Brewers. I was always a fan of his when he played for the Sox because he played his heart out every single time he stepped on the field and despite being capable to start for other teams in the league, he stuck with Boston as a backup outfielder. Not to mention he was an incredible defender and had the offensive skill to compliment it.
