After watching him hit a Rich Harden sinker up the middle with the slightest of ease, I had to give the guy some props. Oakland A's catcher Jason Kendall went to his knees to block the 0-2 pitch, when the samurai flick of the wrist sent the ball on a line by Bobby Crosby into center.

I was a total Ichiro hater 6 years ago, figuering the MLB could figure out how to pitch a guy with such an awkward swing...

I was wrong, and now hold him to a whole other level.
