Kershaw Call Up Imminent?

After much speculation that he would be called up last Saturday, it now seems that the Dodgers are preparing him for a debut on next Tuesday.

"Kershaw faced three Carolina Mudcats, struck out two, then was yanked by manager John Shoemaker, completely healthy. By starting Thursday night, Kershaw is on schedule to start again Tuesday, which happens to be the next time the Dodgers need a fifth starter in Chicago."

While next Tuesday is the conservative estimate, Kershaw's early exit could also indicate a debut as early as this coming Saturday.
