Khalil Greene Hit on Wrist, Could Miss time

Greene, who's 55 RBI is tied for most among NL shortstops, was hit on the wrist by Houston's Brandon Backe during Sunday's game. X-Rays came back negative, but he could be out at least a few days if not longer.

Greene was struggling in August after returning from a sprained finger, but he had hit .361 in July and despite his .254 average overall, he's a very important cog in the the Padres offense. Benchman Geoff Blum replaced Greene today.
