It's that time of year already. GM's are locked away in their holes trying to figure out how they can make a splash in the trade market. Hillenbrand and Pena. Gross. If it means settling on a lesser first basmen because the Yanks traded their prospects to get bullpen help, I'm ok with that. But the trade deadline better not pass with NY just grabbing Hillenbrand.

The Angels have been looking a lot at Teixeira and his availability but I wouldn't be surprised if the Yanks took a peek as well. One thing is for sure and that is the Yanks are in the market for a first basemen and I just can't see them settling for a Hillenbrand.

The Padres and Dodgers may be getting in a bidding war for Adam Dunn...problem for both is he's a better 1B choice than OF. I wonder if the Yanks would be interested? I hear that the Yanks would be in the market for Gagne....but DETROIT would be a better fit...in place of Todd Jones as setup..Gagne could close....Tigers get in the MIX!

actually i think angels wil aquire duun. they have been also looking at him and they have more money
