I'm not sure if this is a record, but it's pretty astounding in any case. Roy Halladay has lost his third straight complete game, this time against the Boston Red Sox. He pitched 8.2 innings, gave up 5 hits, 1 walk, and 1 run.

	Probably not a record, given that starting pitchers at one time would finish virtually all of their games. But the way the game is played today, yeah, that is pretty remarkable.

	The Jays need to bring in Barry Bonds... J.P. Riccardi needs to take a risk on him if he wants to keep his job... If the Jays finish third again, he should be fired.

	The NESN trivia question was just about who the last pitcher to pitch 3 straight complete games and lose them was. It was Randy Johnson in 1999.

	lester did not outpitch halladay since when is the jays offense as good as the sox's offense he just got to pitch to the worser of the two lol

	It is too bad that Cy Young voters will place too much importance on wins when it comes time to select the award winner. Halladay is clearly the best pitcher in the AL right now.

	I give you a thumbs up because I do think Halladay is at least in the top three. You should win any complete game you pitch these days. Halladay is one of the best.

	I agree with jason 2 for a first... Halladay is an unbelivable pitcher ..he has pitches 10 games... 72 innings average 7.2 per outing... has a 3.38 era he is a star.... he is just with a bad team.
