The Phillies Edge Mets to Go 3-0 in Series

Jamie Moyer edged out Oliver Perez in a tight 6 inning battle of lefthanders, both shortstop Jimmy Rollins and leftfielder Pat Burrell stroked first inning homers and the Phillies' bullpen once again came up big holding the Mets scoreless over the final 3 innings, thanks to a controversial game-ending double play on an interference call, to win a 3-2 nail-biter in game 3 of their 4 game series.

Not since Hockey season have I seen two interference calls in the span of one week. I guess it all evens out? Heading down to the game this afternoon in hopes of a 4 game sweep.

I think the Phils are in a Karma-zone w/ that win last night!! (Don't get me wrong, I'm a lifelong Philadelphia fan, so I KNOW that they're gonna fall apart, but YA GOTTA DREAM, RIGHT??).
That was a good call concerning Anderson's interference call & the call on Ruiz the other day was good also, so you're right ursportspro, it does all even out!!!
It's the bottom of the 9th & we're down by 1!!
C'MON PHIGHTIN' PHILS!! SWEEP THOSE BASTARDS!!!
