Rob Schumacher/The Republic / USA TODAY NETWORK

On Saturday, Chase Field will be vibrant with the colors and sounds of Mexican culture as the Arizona Diamondbacks host Mexican Heritage Night during their game against the Detroit Tigers.

The evening will be filled with a plethora of activities, including live music, traditional dance performances, and a selection of authentic Mexican cuisine, celebrating Arizona’s rich Mexican heritage.

The first 15,000 fans to arrive will be treated to a special giveaway—a D-backs Mexican flag hat. Post-game, attendees can enjoy a free concert featuring La Séptima Banda, a 17-member ensemble known for their eclectic Mexican music stylings.

Enrique Mazon, owner of the Hermosillo Naranjeros from the Mexican Pacific League, will have the honor of throwing out the first pitch. This will set the stage for performances by Banda La Poderosa, Ballet Folklorico Tapatio, and Mariachi Aztlán from Pueblo High School, who will perform the U.S. National Anthem.

During the game, fans can indulge in specialty food offerings, including carne asada fries topped with carne asada beef, guacamole, pico de gallo, and cheddar cheese.

For those 21 and over, the Jack Fire-Rite—a fiery cocktail crafted with Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Fire, orange liqueur, and sweet and sour mix—will be available.

First pitch for the Diamondbacks matchup against the Tigers on Saturday is at 5:10 PM.
