If you've given up on the 2008 Brewers, do not read this

I've recently been taking a lot of criticism from one of the posters on our message boards. If I've written about it, he's bashed it. The latest hatred that he's spewing is my lack on thoughts and comments on this current week of baseball since my last post talked about the biggest baseball series   more...

Can You smell The hot dogs in the air? Part 2: NL

To those who celebrate it, I wish to wish you a Merry Christmas. Onward to the surprising National League preview. All the talk last year about a far inferior National League all but made the ALCS the official World Series. But Those feisty St. Louis Cardinals surprised the world and won the   more...

Arizona calls up top prospect Stephen Drew

Counsell will be out 3-6 weeks with a broken rib. This will be a nice little test for Drew who hopefully can avoid injuries better than his big brother JD. While far from extraordinary, Counsell was on a very similar productivity pace to last year. Meaning, unless Drew shows a sizeable   more...

Stephen Drew to be Called Up

Pick him up! Craig Counsell is likely to be out of the lineup for 3 weeks with a broken rib, so the job is Drew's for the taking. Many thought he should have won it out of Spring Training, but the organization thought the veteran counsell was the better short term choice. In full time work over   more...

Yovani Gallardo made his 2008 debut for the Brewers on Sunday and picked up right where he left off in 2007. Brewers take a gift from the Baby Bears

Before I get to the game today, I have to thank Cubs' fans for again displaying no class and showing why no one outside of Chicago likes you people. In the bottom of the sixth on a ball hit to Ryan Braun in left field, Cubs' "fans" threw food and drinks in Braun's direction while he was making a   more...
