The UFC is looking into solutions for countering Affliction's July 19th PPV. There has been rumors of the UFC holding a free event shown on Spike TV containing both Wanderlei Silva and Brandon Vera. There could be a clash of these two at light heavyweight but none the less it looks like the UFC is planning on keeping these two in the mix at this event.
This is a big blow to the heavily anticipated Affliction show that boasts some heavy hitters in the heavy weight division.
