Au revoir Air France!

Je vous manquerai!

With all the hullabaloo surrounding Baron/Brand/Maggette we haven't heard much about everyone's favorite French man moving on to the Magic.

When it comes to Mickael there are a few things about this guy that I will surely not miss - setting screens out of bounds, turning over the ball & then stomping & clapping his hands out of frustration, injuring his groin the last part of the season just when he started to get hot....etc. He has made me want to roundhouse kick my tv a few times.

There are also some things that I really will miss about him, his amazing athleticism, his dunks, blocks & sheer explosiveness that when used correctly could be very very fun to watch.

This loss is definetly not a terrible thing for the Warriors on the court. But we did loose a good amount of off the court swagger. Now with Boom gone too - Belinelli will need to step up in the swagger dept.

I wish him the best & I think he will do really well on the Magic.

merci de tout le basket-ball passionnant. bonne chance !

'roundhouse kick my tv'
ahahahahaahahahahahahaahahahahahahahahaahahahahah
oh god i can only picture it now lol......

He had pretty good D but all I remember is him missing clutch free throws

that too. i forgot about that. lol!

Im not really goin to miss him that much. I heard that he never really wanted to be with the dubs and a lot of the time when he was on the court he showed it. But yeah towards the end of the season all of a sudden he got game. He was probably showin other NBA teams that there was potential in him. Oh well gives the Warriors more money to play with.

he wasn't my #1 fave either - he just didn't fit into the program. Can't fault him for that. I think it's a win win. The Warriors unload a liability and he is going outside of our confrence.
I will miss his speeches at the season ticket holder party, though.

You know, the guys a character, and a super athletic and nice addition to any team...problem is he just wasn't cutting it for the dubs...I mean granted he never got too much playing time, he just wasn't consistent enough. He does however hit that corner three better than anyone i've seen since wesley person, theres a throw back for ya...good luck mickael and say hi to adonal for us

NAW rember Chuck Person that was my dogg he could bang a three.

Air France was sure a fan favorite, he had a section of fans devoted just for him. Too bad he couldn't stay for one more season, so I can have the time to sell his jersey HA! On one night, I saw Mickael himself at the LV store in DT SF,made eye contact and thats all. I wanted to go up and ask for a hand shake or a quick picture, but he was busy talking to sales rep. I was thinking why is he in here right now when the Warriors are in a tight playoff race? Of course, he doesn't care for the dubs thats for sure. Regardless, he was great during his earlier years with the dubs, and now he will face a Warrior team next season that is better without him.

I will miss the flying Frenchman. He provided energy and "fun" to a team that fell asleep every now and then. He was a great interview and always had that crazy smile on his face. Glad he is off getting paid now, he deserves it.

It made me laugh when Pietrius said "I'm a franchise player!" at the end of last season.

Now the question is " Where does Barnes Go"????

He can come to my house.

HAHAHA. I say the pistons go out and get him. You know.. the warriors should go after small foward Jarvis Hayes. He's a great 3-point shooter which is the GSW's style. If they can't get Barnes.

I always like Barnes he has heart and plays D plus he can play any spot 2-4

I feel for Barnes. He played whatever position Nellie wanted him to play & the first mis-step he was out of there. I think Nellie started hating him toward the end of the season. He would give him these dirty looks anytime something went wrong in a play. his fault or not.

Yeah, but Barnes was a bit wild last season. He was either on, or on another planet. Maybe that was partly Nelly's doing. I did feel for him, though. He couldn't catch a break. Pietrus, on the other hand... although not a fave. There were times when he looked really solid. Good for him.
