Baron Davis could go to the Blazers?

The Blazers don't need him, they are the team of the future and Bayless is going to be their man.

Man take Bayless and shove him - Baron Davis is a top-tier talent now. Sure, in five years Bayless could be the guy, but why wait? Young teams with veteran point guards are dangerous - very dangerous.

HELL NO. I think Baron is a cool guy but his attitude is not very good on the court. Too cocky, and I still remember him showing poor sportsmanship in a game against Portland last year. Blazers can't pick a guy with that kind of character. Like KP said, he will always pass on the more talented player if he doesn't fit our culture.

Honestly, Baron Davis will not make are team better anyway. Brandon Roy is our leader and Davis would just mess things up.

Thought about it last night, and its true, awesome bball player but does not fit the team. I think his attitude is fine, and Nate could keep him in check if he got out of line.

Could you even picture how terrible Warriors vs. Blazer game nights would be on the yard if the Blazers picked up BD? I mean, it already gets pretty ugly because the yard is filled with so many Blazer/Warrior fans....imagine that times a hundred. Ouch.

I like Baron, but to tell you the truth, I think, just sometimes, he has an on court problem. When the Kings played them in Sac the 2nd time last year, he was just getting into people's faces. 2 examples.

When Artest went to talk to Kelenna Azubuike after he hit Kevin Martin on the nose, he came in to defend his teammate, but it wasn't like Artest was about to beat him up, just telling him don't do that. And Baron looked like he was still talking after Artest left. Then in the 2nd half, Baron pushed off Anthony Johnson after AJ was up defending him in the post. Both got T'd up but BD was doing all the talking.

I think you're on to something.
Portland could wait a couple of years till the young players develop and take them to the finals, but with BD they have a legitimate chance to do it this year.
Plus they have a lot of young talent to offer the W's in return and Paul Allen can afford to pay him.
CBS sports has BD ranked #2 PG in the NBA behind Chris Paul, we would be foolish to pass him up.

Honestly lets think about this. The Blazers could work something out with the Warriors or just up and sign him. THEY HAVE THE MONEY. I just checked and they will only have a 16 man roster this year and that is if you count Batum, who most likely wont play with us this year. Trade, Bayless, Martell, and Money for Boom. Or just straight up sign him. This would immediately put them into contention. Spread the word.

If BD signs with Portland there is no doubt that would make them real threat to win a championship. Portland has the talent to compete rite now with the talent they have on the roster and I hope everyone don't forget that Odon didnt play last season and they did pretty i mean better than wat everyone expected them to do. I'm not a portlands fan but I enjoyed watching them last season.

I still think that C. Billups would be a better fit for Portland than BD, but we need a "TRUE" veteran on the roster. Dump Von Wafer and LaFrentz to get either BD or Billups.

Nate likes his PG's to play defense so I really don't see the Blazers making a play for him or any other free agent. They don't want to screw up all the cap room that they will have next year for free agents.
