Depending on the results of a physical, it looks like Shaq daddy will now be a sun. both teams have agreed to trade Shawn Marion and Marcus Banks to the Miami Heat for Mr. O'Neal. How does this work for both teams in the end? only time will tell.
It seems Shaq's style does not fit the suns run and gun up tempo game play. But, Without a clear center and no Dominate Force other then Amare Stoudamire we will see how the often out of shape O'Neal fits in there system. For the Heat this is a clear no brainer. Dump the declining centers salary for a high energy player like Marion and his contract which he can opt out of at the end of this year. Throw in Marcus Banks and your team just got a whole lot younger and a lot more salary cap.
