DraftNation Announces Keep Your Picks Playoff

In the 1996 draft, the Charlotte Hornets spent the 13th pick on a 17-year old high school kid from Lower Merion, Pennsylvania. They then traded him to the Los Angeles Lakers for center Vlade Divac. Twelve years later, Kobe Bryant is still around, and the ten time all-star is arguably the best player in the league.

Ever wonder how good the Hornets could be if they had kept Kobe, and he and Chris Paul were in the same backcourt? Or if Shaq could line up next to Dwight Howard? Or if the state of Wisconsin be a different place if the Bucks had kept Dirk Nowitzki and not dealt for "Tractor" Traylor? We do. In fact, it keeps us up at night.

But now, DraftNation is here to settle the debate and help you rest easy. Partnered with our friends at WhatIfSports, we bring you the NBA "Keep Your Picks" Playoff. Very simply, NBA rosters are made up entirely of the players those teams originally drafted. Using WhatIfSports' groundbreaking simulation technology, we can now finally see which team truly drafts best and who should be bringing home a big gold ball this month.
