Experience? Who Needs It?

Despite the lack of playoff experience, New Orleans tore Dallas a new one in the second half.

Paul went off.

He is a beast, it also helps when everyone except Dirk doesn't show up for Dallas.

Dallas should be able to win this series. They just keep on fouling it up by (1) turning over the ball, (2) taking quick idiotic jumpers that New Orleans rebounds and takes the other way coast to coast. See how many fast breaks the Hornets were running in the second half?

Plenty of credit to Paul, but Dallas blew that game by getting away from Kidd and ball movement.

Dallas shouldn't have gotten rid of Devin Harris. I don't think Paul would have lit him up for 35 because he's too quick. Kidd doesn't have the speed to keep up with him. Dallas just blew this game in the third quarter. Avery must have given them champagne and strawberries at halftime instead of making a motivational speech. Looks like another early out.

I don't think that makes sense at all. Devin Harris is fast at the offensive end, but he's a flopper on the defensive side. CP3 is too crafty for those kinds of charges in the fastbreak. Plus Harris was plenty fast against Baron Davis and Monta Ellis last year and it didn't help the Mavs at all.

Golden State was just hot last year at the right time. That was obvious by the way they ended the year this year. I would put my vote on Chris Paul for MVP over Kobe, but when you are hot, you're hot. He could have thrown it up with his eyes closed last night and it would have gone through the basket.

nah paul will get his chances at MVP its gotta be kobes year hes shown everyone what he can do with a legit team around him

Doesn't hurt to have a center who can put up 30+. That's why Kobe has rings is because of Shaq. He may get another one, but if Gasol wasn't there, he wouldn't be getting that chance.

Paul has the gift of talent and discipline. There's a reason he's ended up in Jordan's commercials when Kobe hasn't.

As for it being Kobe's year. NO. The guy whined and moaned publicly and he was BOOED on opening day. Does that sound like an MVP?

When Pau or Bynum were healthy, the Lakers excelled with a talented group. When Kobe had to lead the team, they struggled. Does that sound like an MVP?

You lead by example. You don't lead by the talent around you.

ya cps made west an all-star.....

paul is rediculous

Dirky let David West put fingers on his face and didn't do a damn thing about it. That's, my friends, is why Dallas will NEVER win with him being the best player.

Perhaps he will get one when he is old and prostituting his services on the cheap to a contender.

yeah well if dirk did anything back he woulda got suspended so thats why its good to have him...hes smart not a dumb thug like carmelo anthony and punches ppl in the face

so u sit there n tak it lika a chump and dont grab his gand n say look mother f'er dont u evea touvh me.....

Well, if it was me, I would have punched West in the nose and worried about it later, but that's just me. I ain't gonna take that crap from anyone. Never know, that might be the catalyst your team needs to fire them up.

exactly, sit a game then come back with a fire in your bell y and respect from everyone for droppin that punk west

speed kills
